Description
The Riser adds half an inch to the fuse box in 2020 and newer Toyota 4Runners, making it easier to close the lid when you're using Fuse-Taps or Add-a-Fuses. This is especially handy since the “INJ” fuse got moved to a higher spot in newer models, which makes things a bit tight. The riser gives you the extra room you need, so everything fits without crushing wires or struggling with the lid.
Also, we've added a couple of wire pass-throughs on the back of the riser. This means no need to permanently modify the fuse box or its lid, which is great because it keeps your wires from getting pinched and messing up your electronics. Plus, we placed these passthroughs in a spot where they won't get wet easily, keeping everything safe and dry.
Installation is a breeze. Just line the riser up with your fuse box, snap it onto the existing tabs, and close the lid like you normally would. No fuss. We made the riser with a special in-house resin mix that's tough and can handle the heat or cold, but it also looks good with a smoother finish due to being printed out of resin.
Installation note: The riser may be removable but is meant to be removed infrequently. It's not meant to be taken on & off all the time. The resin used is pretty hard, harder than the plastic of the Fuse Box, so if you're always taking it off and putting it on, you will see some wear on the tabs after a while.
