King 2.5 Extended Travel Coilovers
The front of 4Runners uses A-Arms with a large motion ratio so large shocks are required to provide off-road capability. King 2.5 coilovers provide the diameter necessary to make the damping force required to prevent your 4Runner from being too bouncy. The remote reservoirs decrease the operating pressure for a smoother ride and longer life span. The extended travel allows for lift heights up to 2.5" without the suspension overextending. King 2.5 Remote Reservoir Rear Shocks
Toyota 4Runners carrying heavy loads or seeing serious off-road use should use a large diameter 2.5 shocks for greater durability and tunability.
Compression Adjusters (STAGES WITH "A")
Compression adjusters are useful when changing weight (light DD, heavy weekend warrior), changing terrain (tight handling on-road, soft off-road), and for ultimate control over your ride quality (handling vs harshness). Low-speed compression damping adjustment controls handling vs harshness on washboard and gravel roads. High-speed compression controls damping on speed bumps, potholes, and whoops.
SPC Adjustable Upper Control Arms (OPTIONAL)
Extended travel upper control arms (UCA's) are necessary for lift heights over 1", especially when used off-road. We recommend the SPC UCA's in order to push caster as far forward as possible for maximum tire clearance. This is what we use on our overland builds.
Icon Delta Joint Upper Control Arms (OPTIONAL)
Extended travel upper control arms (UCA's) are necessary for lift heights over 1", especially when used off-road. These are sealed and externally greaseable meaning they'll have a long, squeak-free life. Billet tubular control arms use greaseable bushings on the frame side for a compliant ride. We recommend Icon Delta Joint UCA's for high-speed driving.
Rear Coil Springs
Choose from 1 inch to 3 inches of lift in the rear. The Eibach 1" lift is the most popular as it will level out the 4Runner stance. If you plan to have a constant weight or want a higher lift in the rear then you can choose from the Icon 2" or 3" coil spring. If your 4Runner is equipped with KDSS, then you are limited to only a 1" lift in the rear due to the rear sway bar. KDSS is optional on the 2010-2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road trim level.
